The little red Muffik puzzle-piece stickers are exactly the kind of artifact that gets skipped if you do not know to ask.

Erin had been working alongside the business long before anybody would have called it a résumé bullet. One of the projects I remember most clearly was consulting work connected to Sticker Mule in Amsterdam, New York, during the START-UP NY / tax-free business-development era. It became a place where Erin could take the reins, do actual business work, and receive college credit for it.
The point was never “my kid helped with stickers.” The point was that we treated young people as capable. We gave them work with consequences. We let them learn business by touching the business.
So when I find these old stickers, I do not see promo junk. I see Erin learning to build, communicate, execute, and own a piece of something real.
