I was supposed to make a résumé.
That lasted about five minutes.
A résumé wants clean lines: title, employer, date, accomplishment. My camera roll has freight paperwork, product testing, boxes stacked to the ceiling, sensory tiles covering the patio, construction sites, stickers, candy, lottery tickets, roses, and kids wandering through businesses being built around them.
The useful discovery is that none of it is filler. The boxes are operations. The stickers are people. The walls are engineering. The products are family. The photographs are timestamps. The ridiculous objects are often the surviving index to a story I would otherwise forget.
So the résumé is still coming. But first I apparently have to reconstruct the life that produced it.
Working narrative record. Dates, amounts, ownership, certification language and other details can be tightened as primary records are recovered.
